ANCHORAGE, Alaska – USKH Inc., now Stantec, is the 12th highest rated Multidiscipline Architecture/Engineering (A&E) Firm to Work For in the country.

ZweigWhite recently announced the award winners. Rankings were made based on the results of a comprehensive survey of workplace practices and an independent survey of employees.

"Ranking among the best firms to work for shows that our employees enjoy coming to work every day," says Timothy J. Vig, P.E., former president and CEO of USKH. "Employees who are engaged in their work, challenged to do their best, and enjoy their workplace deliver superior service to our clients."

"Now that we've joined Stantec, our employees have an even greater opportunity to grow with a larger firm. We're pleased with what we've accomplished and are excited about the future. We believe that we are better together."

USKH was recently acquired by Stantec, a global design firm with more than 13,000 employees in 200-plus offices.

To qualify for the Multidiscipline award, firms provide a minimum of two disciplines. USKH was founded in Alaska and has provided design services for more than 40 years; services include architecture; civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineering; planning; landscape architecture; and surveying.
