Thursday's Games

Pilots cruise past Chinooks

The visiting Pilots racked up 14 hits and held the Chinooks to just four as Anchorage cruised to a 9-0 win.

Ray Guerrini went 3 for 5 with an RBI and scored a run for the Pilots, who had four players with at least two hits.

Three Pilots pitchers combined for 10 strikeouts and scattered four hits.

William Arendt went 2 for 4 to lead the Chinooks.

Panners win shortened game

Fairbanks racked up five runs in the second inning en route to a 6-0 win at Kenai in a five-inning game shortened by rain.

Kris Paulino led Fairbanks with two RBIs, one hit and scored one run.

Tylor McGill pitched the entire game, holding Kenai to two hits and striking out seven.

Miners-Bucs rescheduled

Thursday's game between the Miners and Bucs was postponed due to rain.

It was rescheduled for Friday — the Bucs traveled to Mat-Su for a doubleheader.
