Fairbanks' Hunter Bishop is the latest Alaskan headed abroad

Winger Hunter Bishop of Fairbanks is the latest Alaska connection headed across the pond.

Bishop, 26, is headed to Olimpija Llubljana in Austria, according to eliteprospects.com

Bishop has played most of his previous four seasons in the AHL, and he played all of last season on that circuit one rung below the NHL. In 57 games with the Manchester Monarchs, he earned 6-9--15 totals and a +12 rating.

Bishop has played 128 games in the AHL and 57 in the ECHL.
