Senate candidate Sullivan hits the road in RV for final campaign appearances

Alaska U.S. Senate candidate Dan Sullivan has begun what his campaign branded an "Alaska Strong" RV tour for the final days of his campaign, which will take him more than 750 road miles from Anchorage through Kenai, Seward, North Pole and Fairbanks.

Sullivan's three daughters, his wife and a campaign staffer will accompany him on the trip, which began Friday and runs through Monday evening, according to a news release and a campaign spokesman.

Sullivan will travel most of the way on the RV, with one flight from Anchorage to the Fairbanks area to allow him to attend an event at the Anchorage Baptist Temple, said spokesman Mike Anderson.

Anderson said the RV was bedecked in Sullivan signs, but nothing "too over the top."
