North Pole football team moves to 2-0 with win over Ketchikan

Fueled by a big second half, North Pole won its second football game in six days, beating Ketchikan 45-26 in a nonconference game in Fairbanks.

The Patriots, ranked third among the state's medium-sized schools, outscored Ketchikan 23-8 in the second half.

Dew Rogers rushed for three touchdowns and DeAndre Campbell rushed for two for North Pole (2-0).

Connor Hicks scored three first-half touchdowns for Ketchikan (1-1), which trailed 22-18 at the half.
