Police: Motorcyclist hits pedestrian in Muldoon

A pedestrian walking near Fred Meyer in Muldoon on Thursday was taken to the hospital after being struck by a motorcycle, said Anchorage police. 

Police responded to the incident on Muldoon Road after a 911 call reported it around 4 p.m. Details on the injuries suffered by the pedestrian were not immediately available. Dani Myren, a police spokesperson, said the motorcyclist’s injuries were minor. 

Earlier Thursday, a cyclist was taken to the hospital with critical injuries after he was hit by an SUV in Midtown.
