Anchorage defenseman William Wrenn, who played all last season for the AHL champion Texas Stars, has re-signed to play for them again in the upcoming season, according to eliteprospects.com
Wrenn, 23, began his pro career two seasons ago with the ECHL's Alaska Aces, racking 5-16--21 totals in 51 games. He also played 19 games that season for AHL Texas, with 2-5--7 totals, and three games with AHL Worcester.
Last season, Wrenn in 40 regular-season games for the Texas Stars earned 2-5--7 totals. He played in two playoff games, with an assist.
Wrenn was a second-round draft pick of the NHL's San Jose Sharks..
