Anchorage's Evan Trupp signs with AHL Worcester

Evan Trupp of Anchorage, who helped the Alaska Aces to the Kelly Cup last season and earned his first promotion to the AHL, has signed with AHL Worcester, according to eliteprospects.com

Trupp, 26, last season played 17 games for AHL Abbotsford, earning a 1-6--7 totals and an AHL deal from the club then affiliated with NHL Calgary.

For the Aces, Trupp bagged 17-33--50 totals in 51 regular-season games and 6-8--14 totals in 21 playoff games.

He fit in the lineup just about anywhere -- at some point last season, Trupp played wing on all three of Alaska's lines. Never complained, just produced.
