A few more Alaska connections on the move in pro pucks

Just a quick update to note a few more Alaska-connected players who have landed pro work for the upcoming season.

Strong signing by the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads, who signed former UAF forward Colton Beck, who played three games with AHL St. John's after his college career ended last spring. Beck last season as a Nanooks senior posted career highs in all categories, racking 14-25--39 and +19 totals in 37 games.

His UAF teammate, defenseman Michael Quinn, has signed with ECHL Cincinnati, the team the Alaska Aces beat in the Kelly Cup Finals in June. Quinn last season produced 2-22--24 totals in 37 games.

And former UAA goaltender Dusan Sidor, after two pro seasons in his native Slovakia playing for his hometown team, HK SKP Poprad, is headed to Italy to play for Valpellice.
