Prep volleyball: Friday's matches

Service 3, West 0

Service's Morgan Christy was all over the place Friday in a 25-8, 25-19, 25-14 Cook Inlet Conference volleyball victory over West. She supplied 15 kills, 12 digs, four blocks and two aces.

Megan Christy, Morgan's twin, added 26 assists, 10 digs and four aces for the Cougars, who also got eight kills from Emily Rosenfield and 31 digs from Monique Mojica.

Chugiak 3, Bartlett 0

Anna Ingraham's 20 assists and two aces helped Chugiak sweep Bartlett 25-9, 25-12, 25-20 in CIC volleyball action Friday night.

Rachel Gregg slammed nine kills and Sinjin Acuna turned in 14 digs for the Mustangs.

Bartlett was led by Ka Yang's 10 digs, Savanna Sahara's seven kills and Harmony Lee's three aces.

East 3, Eagle River 0

Jackie Osequede served seven aces Friday in East's volleyball sweep of Eagle River.

Taylor Noga slammed 16 kills and Mafi Makihele handed out 32 assists for the T-birds.

South 3, Dimond 1

South rallied from an epic first-set loss to down Dimond in four sets in a Thursday night CIC battle between two of the conference's powerhouses.

Aspen Avery's 27 digs and Taylor Sims' 37 assists led the Wolverines, who triumphed 30-32, 25-13, 25-13, 25-5. Shelby Little recorded a team-high 14 kills, Sierra Avery added nine and Claire Lacey chipped in seven kills and five blocks.

South's win came despite a huge match by Dimond's Chrisalyn Johnson, who amassed 17 digs and 16 kills. Rohyn Huss added 14 kills and Jenna Hickel contributed 11 digs.
