Alaska connections on NHL training-camp rosters

After perusing team websites and some other sources, looks like there are more than two dozen Alaska-connected players on NHL training-camp rosters.

Most NHL teams will be in full swing at training camps by the weekend, with many of them opening camp today.

Calgary Flames -- Former UAA winger Curtis Glencross, and former Alaska Aces goaltender Joni Ortio, former Aces defenseman John Ramage and former Aces winger Turner Elson.

Columbus Blue Jackets -- Center Brandon Dubinsky of Anchorage and former Aces defenseman Brett Ponich.

Edmonton Oilers -- Former Aces goalie Laurent Brossoit.
