Police: Juneau woman, rental car missing

Juneau police are searching for a local woman who rented a car for one day on Sept. 16, because the 2014 white Chevrolet Impala hasn't been returned.

Officers haven't located the Chevy or the 31-year-old woman who rented it, Tiffany Spaulding.

Police have contacted "multiple associates" of Spaulding, but they denied knowing where she or the vehicle was, according to a news release.

Those associates did not report the woman as missing, police say, and officers would like to confirm that she's safe.

The Juneau Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating Spaulding and the rental car; its license plate reads GTC 565.
