Just a quick note tonight to recognized the Fairbanks Ice Dogs' three-game road sweep at Coulee Region.
The defending NAHL champs won 6-4 tonight after bagging a 5-1 win Friday and a 6-5 shootout victory Thursday.
Yannick Vedel had two goals tonight, two goals Friday and one goal Thursday, when the Ice Dogs won the shootout in eight rounds. The Dane has seven goals in 15 games this season after he scored six goals in 47 games for the Ice Dogs last season.
Fairbanks improved to 8-6-1.
