Nanooks remain perfect (5-0-0)

UAF won 1-0 at Western Michigan in Kalamazoo tonight to remain undefeated and mark itself as just one of three NCAA Division I men's teams that are 5-0-0 -- along with the Nanooks, defending national champion Union and Robert Morris are also perfect in five games.

UAF used 34 saves from Sean Cahill, a sophomore who bagged his second career shutout, and a third-period power-play strike from defenseman Nolan Kaiser.

Assisting on Kaiser's goal were defenseman Colton Parayko, the best player on either Alaska college hockey team, and rookie Peter Krieger.
