Final regular season CIC volleyball matches held

Dimond 3, Chugiak 0

Rohyn Huss had 16 kills and four service aces to lead Dimond to a 3-0 Cook Inlet Conference win over Chugiak on senior night at Dimond.

Chrisalyn Johnson had 15 kills and 26 digs for the Lynx, who also got 26 assists from Allie McDonnell and 19 digs from Jenna Hickel.

Rachel Gregg netted 10 kills and three blocks for the Mustangs, Samantha Cooper added 24 digs and Sara Rutz had six digs.

Service 3, Bartlett 0

Morgan Christy had a match-high 20 kills in just three sets to power Service to a CIC volleyball sweep (25-21, 25-14, 25-18) of visiting Bartlett on Thursday night.

"She was hot tonight," said Service coach Bryan Stenehjem, whose team honored six seniors before the match.

Christy's twin sister – and fellow senior – Megan had 31 assists for the Cougars, who also got 14 digs from senior Monique Mojica and 10 digs from senior Autumn Stevens.

Paia Togagae had nine kills for the Golden Bears, Savanna Sahara had six kills and Loryanna Tufuga had 21 assists.

West 3, Eagle River 0

West defeated Eagle River in three sets (25-17, 25-14, 25-11) on Thursday night in a CIC volleyball match at Eagle River.

Ashton Jessee had eight kills for West, which got five kills from Alyssa Albright, 23 assists from Rusie Rush and 12 digs from Kia Hasson.

Thursday's matches marked the final night of the regular season in the CIC. The conference tournament begins Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 4 p.m. at Service High.
