Well, now, former UAA winger Kevin Clark is crushing it in Germany

Couldn't help but notice that former UAA winger/massive pest Kevin Clark, in his second full season in the DEL, Germany's top pro league, is having a monster season.

Clark, who plays for the awesomely named Hamburg Freezers, leads the DEL in goals and points with 20-17--37 totals in 25 games. He's also tied for second in the league in plus-minus at +18. Not to put too fine a point on it, but Clark has six more goals than any other dude on that circuit.

The 26-year-old has flourished in two-plus seasons in the DEL. In 85 career regular-season games, he's put up 52-57--109 totals and a +43 rating.

Just for kicks, here's a couple other Alaska connections in the DEL. Former Alaska Aces winger Ryan MacMurchy of ERC Ingolstadt, sits 19th in league scoring with 11-13--24 totals and a +18 rating in 19 games. Also, Dan Hacker of Wasilla, a 10th-year pro who is in his eighth season in Europe and sixth with the awesomely named Schwenninger Wild Wings, owns 11-6--17 totals and a +5 rating in 25 games.
