Colony defeated host South 48-28 in the championship dual match to earn the championship at the Alaska 4A Dual Meet Championships on Saturday.
The Knights got pins from Kody Nash at 195 pounds, Zachariah Doan at 220, Sam Sisco at 106, Robert Haan at 160 and Dawson Nash at 170 to key the win. Spencer Adams also won a 6-4 decision over Zach Ritchie at 152 for Colony, which also got a forfeit.
South's Scott Harris won by fall at 113 for the Wolverines, who got wins by Gavin Alvarado at 126, Noah Ottum at 138 and Rami Pellumbi at 145 as well as a forfeit.
In other matches on Saturday, Wasilla defeated Service 42-36 for third place, North Pole downed Soldotna 57-22 for fifth and Kodiak beat Lathrop 42-32 to place seventh.
The 13-team tournament serves as an unofficial dual championship for Alaska class 4A schools. The official ASAA high school championship tournament -- which is scored bracket-style and awards individual and team champions -- is in Feburary.
