Aces' defense depth is a turnstile lately

In the last two days, the Alaska Aces' defensive depth has been in flux.

After Brad Richard was loaned to AHL Iowa on Tuesday, giving the second-year pro his first AHL gig. Wednesday, the Minnesota Wild recalled Aces defenseman Colton Jobke back to AHL Iowa and sent the Aces defenseman Corbin Baldwin, who was here earlier this season. Also, the Aces again signed Brad Gorham of Anchorage, who has often given them some part-time help when his schedule allows -- he's an engineer in Anchorage who played at UAA.

In any event, that means the Aces' defensive corps Wednesday vs. Bakersfield will have a new look. Be interesting to see which blueliners get power-play duty with Richard out, or even if coach Rob Murray decides to use four forwards on one of his PP units.
