Anchorage's Sadie Bjornsen collected World Cup points on Saturday at a 10-kilometer freestyle race in Davos, Switzerland.
Bjornsen, who trains at Alaska Pacific University, finished 29th and was the third American finisher.
The effort keeps Bjornsen in the top 25 in the World Cup's overall standings, where she is the top American, in 22nd place.
Liz Stephen of Vermont placed 12th for the U.S. Ski Team and Jessie Diggins of Minnesota was 27th. Anchorage's Kikkan Randall didn't race.
The win went to Marit Bjoergen of Norway, who hasn't lost a World Cup10-K freestyle race at Davos since 2009.
