West opened with four straight victories but Chugiak roared back Thursday night to post a 46-33 Cook Inlet Conference wrestling win at Chugiak.
Dustin Holta's major decision at 145 pounds ignited the Mustangs, who won 10 of the final 11 matches. The meet's only other pins came from Chugiak's Landon Larsen (98 pounds) and West's Rafael Rivera (120) and T.J. Limbo (138).
Also winning matches for Chugiak were Max Ditzler (152), Colt Jury (182), Jesse Nelson (220) and Riley Demboski (113).
West's other winner was Chardo Elliott at 160; its other victories came via forfeits, as did three of Chugiak's.
