Service nips West in OT to keep CIC hockey lead

Service 3, West 2, OT

It was the second straight OT win for the Cougars, who beat Dimond 3-2 in the extra period Wednesday, to claim sole possession of the CIC lead and bump Dimond to second place.

Millar scored twice for the Cougars, and Michael Curran provided both of West's goals.

Ronan Klancher stopped 30 shots for Service, three of them in overtime. Christopher Alexakis turned back 40 for the Eagles, six of them in overtime.

Service is 11-1 in the CIC, which wraps up regular-season play next week. West is 7-3 and remains in fourth place.
