The Kenai Kardinals swept the team titles at the Colony Invitational cross-country ski meet Saturday at the Government Peak Ski Area.
Kenai skiers Addison Gibson and Travis Cooper took runner-up honors in Saturday's mass-start freestyle race on the trail system at Hatcher Pass.
Gibson finished 21 seconds behind Soldotna's Sadie Fox in the girls 5-kilometer race. The win was the second for Fox at the two-day meet.
Cooper trailed Grace Christian's Trent Fritzel in the boys 7.5-K race by nearly a minute. In Friday's classic race, those two finished in reverse order, with Cooper winning and Fritzel finishing second.
