AACCC Adoption of the Week: Meet Kalia

Here's Anchorage Animal Care and Control's Adoption of the Week, courtesy of AACCC Public Relations Coordinator Laura Atwood:

I give kisses in exchange for belly rubs Want a kiss? Signed, Kalia.

Meet Kalia, a 2-1/2 year old female pit bull that came to us as a stray. This active, friendly and affectionate girl loves being with people and will lounge on her back while getting belly rubs. She also loves to play with her toys, take walks, and to give kisses. Kalia already knows how to sit and stay nicely and is eager to learn more. She is in need of a special adopter due to a skin condition that will need veterinary attention. Also, due to her activity level, we believe she'll do best in a home with older children. Kalia can be adopted for $122, which includes a microchip, MOA license, and a deposit on her spay surgery.
