Dudleys scorch lanes for highest series at Prep Shootout

Bartlett bowlers Alec Dudley and Ryan Dudley both flirted with 700 series Thursday in the Prep Shootout at Jewel Lake Bowl.

Alec got better as the night went on, rolling a 204 in the first game, a 223 in the second and 265 in the third to lead all bowlers with a 692 total.

Ryan rebounded from a sub-200 second game to post the high game of the night, a 279, and finish with 691. He scored 224 and 188 in his first two games.

The third best series came from Service's Deanna Flynn, who posted 627 with games of 168, 217 and 242. The high game among girls was a 258 by East's Taylor Schoeni.
