Boys hoops: Results from Friday's games

Dimond 62, Bartlett 51

Dimond rode a big third quarter to a 62-51 triumph over Bartlett in a Friday night Cook Inlet Conference boys basketball game at Dimond.

Trailing 31-29 at the half, the Lynx gained command by outscoring Bartlett 23-7 in the third quarter.

Carlos Diaz posted a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds to lead Dimond, which got 15 points apiece from Josh Fosi and Muhamad Cole.

Tyler Boyer's 14 points and 10 rebounds led Bartlett. Bentiu Panoam contributed 16 points and Anthony Camacho added 11 for the Golden Bears.

East 79, South 57

Marquis White and Desmond Johnson were too much for South in East's 79-57 CIC win Friday at South.

White racked up 25 points and six rebounds before fouling out and Desmond Johnson tossed in 20 points and added four steals for the T-birds.

South got a boost from Brydin Pacheco's 19 points.

Grace 77, Seward 49

Tobin Karlberg pumped in 33 points Friday night to carry Grace Christian to a 77-49 home-court win over Seward.

Karlberg hit three treys and 10 of 11 free throws for the Grizzlies. His 12 points in the first quarter allowed Grace to take control early.

Ryan Sheldon chipped in 16 points and Kyle Murray 10 for the Grizzlies.

Ronnie Jackson had a hot hand for Seward, draining six 3-pointers en route to 23 points.

ACS 60, Homer 55

Levi Auble's 24 points led a quartet of double-figure scorers who helped Anchorage Christian edge visiting Homer 60-55 on Friday.

Randy Kohutek scored 12 points and Zack Bronson and Bobby Wilson had 10 apiece for ACS.

Homer's Jaruby Nelson led all scorers with 31 points, a performance that included five 3-pointers.
