Clement Molliet, a freshman from France, earned a spot on the podium and three other Seawolves landed in the top 10 in Saturday's cross-country race at the University of New Mexico Invitational.
Molliet placed third in the men's 10-kilometer freestyle race at Red River. Teammate Etienne Richard placed seventh.
In the women's 5-K, Mackenzie Kanady grabbed fifth place and Manon Locatelli finished eighth.
Together they helped UAA to a fifth-place finish in the eight-team meet. New Mexico won the team title with 579 points; UAA scored 470.5.
In Saturday's slalom race, Hughston Norton's 11th-place finish and Curtis McKillop's 15th-place finish led the UAA men and Isabella Andreini's 19th-place result led the women.
Two other Seawolves posted top-15 finishes in the nordic competition -- Alex Mahoney, 14th among men, and Kathrin Schratt, 14th among women.
Two Anchorage skiers claimed top-15 spots for Montana State. Forrest Mahlen was ninth in the men's race and Annie Liotta was 11th in the women's race.
