The East softball team remained undefeated Monday by cruising to a pair of Cook Inlet Conference victories at Albrecht Fields.
Freshman pitcher Daisy Page ruled in both games, handing West its first loss of the season 12-3 in four innings and blanking Eagle River 15-0 in three innings.
Page struck out eight in the win over Eagle River. Against West, she fanned two while allowing five hits.
East (4-0) used a seven-run second inning to subdue West (4-1). Alexis Joubert cracked a two-run homer to center field to highlight the outburst, which left the T-birds with a 9-0 lead.
Also delivering for East in the win over West were Gabby Meyerson (2 for 3 with three RBIs) and Sierra Rosenzweig (3 for 3 with three runs scored).
