Three passengers, including two children, were taken to the hospital after the SUV they were riding in was destroyed in a rollover accident on the Parks Highway in Willow, Alaska State Troopers said.
Troopers said the 2000 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by 26-year-old Willow resident Samantha R. Herndon, was traveling north on the Parks Highway at about mile 75, when it crossed the center line, skidded, left the road and rolled over several times.
Herndon was taken to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center to be treated for injuries, while the two juveniles were also taken to the hospital, "for precautionary reasons," troopers wrote.
All three were wearing seat belts, troopers said.
