The East softball team earned a suburban sweep by beating Chugiak and Eagle River in a Cook Inlet Conference doubleheader Wednesday at Albrecht Fields.
Morgan Hill went 3 for 4 in the opener, a 6-1 win over Chugiak. Daisy Page allowed two hits and struck out five in seven innings to get the win.
Chugiak's Alyssa Arnold broke up the shutout with a seventh-inning solo home run.
In the second game, the T-birds dispatched Eagle River 15-0 in three innings.
