Troopers: Fairbanks man arrested after pouring gasoline around occupied house

A Fairbanks man was arrested Sunday after allegedly pouring gasoline around an occupied house.

Alaska State Troopers received a 911 call on Sunday at 4 a.m. reporting a man pouring the flammable liquid around the structure.

Troopers arrested Kenneth Baxter, 52, of Fairbanks, on third degree domestic violence assault and attempted arson.

Baxter was taken to the Fairbanks Correctional Center.
