Police seek person of interest in Bethel woman's killing

BETHEL -- Police are looking for a person of interest in the stabbing death of a Bethel woman.

KYUK-AM reports Eunice Whitman's body was found near a Bethel boardwalk Sunday. Police are trying to identify a man who appears with the primary suspect in store surveillance footage around the time of the killing.

Lieutenant Joe Corbett says the man was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and was walking down a Bethel AC Quick Stop hallway near Whitman's boyfriend Justine Paul, who's been charged with first-degree murder.

Bethel Police are asking anyone with information on the man to contact them.
