Four arrested in Wasilla heroin bust

Alaska State Troopers said they arrested four Wasilla residents on a variety of charges Friday after a search of a Wasilla home yielded heroin and accompanying paraphernalia.

Troopers said they searched the Hanson Loop home Friday afternoon after receiving "reports of suspected drug distribution," an found an unspecified amount of heroin, as well as scales, packing material, and cash.

Colton Nerup, 22, was consequently arrested for distributing heroin, and charged with second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.

Thirty-year-old Nichole Nerup, of Wasilla, was found possessing heroin and charged with fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.

Another man found in the residence, Edwin Stoltenberg, 32, was arrested for violating the conditions of his release. In January, Stoltenberg fled from troopers on an ATV, and barricaded himself into his home while he tried to reach the petitioner of a domestic violence claim. he was free on a $5,000 bail for charges stemming from the incident, according to online court records.

Stoltenberg's required third-party custodian, named by troopers as 51-year-old Diane Withrow, was not immediately present. When she returned to the residence, Withrow was arrested for violation of custodial duties, troopers said.

All four were taken to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
