Anchorage resident Christopher Jon Winters, 38, has been arrested and charged with the shooting death early Sunday of 19-year old Byzantium Hill, police said Tuesday.
APD said Winters was arrested Monday night on a charge of first-degree murder and taken to the Anchorage jail.
No further details were immediately made available.
APD previously said Hill was shot inside a residence on Lane Street at about 2 a.m. Sunday and taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Winters remains at the Anchorage Correctional Complex in lieu of $250,000 cash bail plus a $100,000 performance bond and court-appointed third-party custodian.
