All-tournament players Lindsay Phillips, Haley Hoepfner and Darian Sorenson guided Cordova to the championship of the 16-team Can You Dig It! small-school volleyball tournament Saturday at Lumen Christi.
Cordova beat Dillingham in the championship match 25-12, 25-22. In the semifinals, Cordova conquered Holy Rosary and Dillingham stopped Su Valley.
Taking the title in the consolation bracket was Tok, a 25-20, 25-22 winner over Glennallen. Tok toppled Tri-Valley and Glennallen beat Lumen Christi in the semifinals.
Dillingham landed three players on the all-tournament team – Sydney Dray, Emily McArthur and Katie Moore.
Other selections included Sarah Lucas and Monica Klump of Holy Rosary, Sarena Drover and Gabby Fauret of Su Valley, Kaye Gumera of Unalaska, Richelle McGahan of Cook Inlet Academy, Reanna Marquez of Unalaska, Kourtney Craig of Birchwood Christian and McKinley Terrell of Glennallen.
