Dimond 7, Lathrop 1
Blaine Orton scored two goals two goals and assisted on another to boost Dimond to a 7-1 hockey victory over Lathrop on Thursday at Ben Boeke Arena.
The Lynx went up 2-0 early and sealed the win with three third-period goals.
Lathrop's lone goal came from Corey Miscovich in the first period.
West Valley 4, Chugiak 2
Playing on back-to-back nights didn't deter West Valley when it beat Chugiak 4-2 Thursday at the McDonald Center.
The Wolfpack benefited from a two-goal night from Caleb Moretz and turned a scoreless tie through the first period into a win. Gabe Rankin scored unassisted and Stoshie Skorulski added another for the Wolfpack.
Daniel Casey and Zachary Krajnik found the back of the net for Chugiak in the loss.
