Cordova tops Su Valley for Borealis volleyball crown

Led by tournament MVP Lindsay Phillips, the Cordova Wolverines captured the championship of the Borealis Conference volleyball tournament Saturday at Lumen Christi High School.

The Wolverines had to bounce back from a loss to Su Valley to take home the title.

Su Valley beat Cordova in the championship match, winning 25-20, 25-22, 28-26 to force the if-necessary match in the double-elimination tournament. Cordova won that match, 25-15, 25-19.
