Bartlett 57, Eagle River 21
The Bartlett Golden Bears competed at the Palmer Elks Showdown on Wednesday where they roared past Eagle River. The Golden Bears beat the Wolves for the second straight day.
Brandee Hawley poured in 19 points and Damaiya Ward chipped in 13 for Bartlett. Hannah Yaw led Eagle River with seven points.
Hawley, a junior, is averaging 17.5 points per game for the Golden Bears through five games.
Lumen Christi 48, Unalaska 27
Off of strong scoring by a pair of freshman, Lumen Christi cruised past Unalaska on Wednesday in a Class 1A home game for the Archangels.
Freshmen Nyadeng Puoy and Chiamaka Lebechi led Lumen with 19 and 12 points, respectively.
