After going 0-3 in Point Hope over the weekend, the Lumen Christi girls basketball team won a Peninsula Conference basketball game against Birchwood Christian 43-33 Tuesday at Lumen Christi.
Nyadeng Puoy propelled the Archangels with 19 points and Jojo Estes added seven.
Haley Scott's 18 points were tops for Birchwood Christian.

The Birchwood Christian boys basketball team took advantage of an undermanned Lumen Christi team that was without three of its starters in a 56-43 win Tuesday at Lumen Christi.
The Warriors outscored the Archangels 17-9 in the fourth quarter to overcome a two-point halftime deficit and take the win.
The Warriors were led by Collin Becker with 24 points and Michael Balos with 11.
Riley Jones paced Lumen Christi with 16 points.
