The Chugiak girls kicked off the Cook Inlet Conference soccer season with a 3-0 win over Eagle River on Monday at The Dome.
Carson Head scored two goals to lead the Mustangs. She gave Chugiak the lead five minutes into the game on a goal assisted by Kinley Sanders.
Alexis McKinnon added to the lead five minutes later with a goal assisted by Nao Yamada off a corner kick by Michelle Eliassen.
Head scored her second goal in the 31st minute, assisted by Kennedy Moore.
Alexis Trombley and Marissa Carroll shared goalkeeper duties for Chugiak.
