South scored three runs in the fifth inning to seal an 8-3 win in Cook Inlet softball action Wednesday at Albrecht fields.
Tristan Tolan and Ashton Jessee powered the Wolverines at the plate.
Tolan provided three runs and drove in another run. Jessee drove in three runs and scored two of her own.
Juju Montgomery led Chugiak, going 2 for 3 with an RBI.
East 8, South 5
Alexis Joubert hit two home runs and drove in six runs to carry East past South 8-5 in a Wednesday CIC softball game at Albrecht Fields.
Sierra Rozenwieg added two runs and two RBIs for the Thunderbirds.
Danni Desjarlais (3 hits, 1 run) and Leilani Blair (1 run, 2 RBIs) paced the Wolverines.
West 14, Dimond 5
Alyssa Brown spurred West on the mound and at the plate in the Eagle's 14-5 Wednesday CIC softball victory over Dimond at Albrecht Fields.
Brown garnered a home run and three hits in addition to grabbing the win in the pitching circle.
Mackenzie Akins, second baseman for Dimond, also hit a home run in the game.
East 6, West 0
Sierra Rosenweig supplied three hits and three runs and East defeated West 6-0 in a CIC softball game Wednesday at Albrecht Fields.
East's pitcher Daisy Page allowed only two hits in the game.
