Arkansas teens to be tried as adults for murder of Alaskan

Juneau's KTOO-FM (via APRN) has filed an extensive follow-up report about the apparently unprovoked beating death in Arkansas of 19-year-old Juneau resident Kevin Thornton. The latest news on the case is that Thornton's alleged attackers -- four teens -- will be tried as adults on enhanced felony murder charges. But KTOO's Rosemarie Alexander also spoke with community members and law enforcement officials in the small Arkansas town, which, along with Juneau, is still rattled by the incident.
