As already announced by the Anchorage Daily News (we can't win them all) The Discovery Channel is searching for "Alaskan Bush Pilots and the hard working men and women that rely on them," according to an open casting call flier from 3 Ball Productions/Eyeworks USA. They plan on creating a new reality TV series that features Alaskan bush pilots and displays their incredibly difficult jobs.

The casting call flier states that the production company is looking for those who use bush pilots to transport cargo such as:

-Medical supplies or equipment

-Live animals

-Heavy equipment like snowmobiles or ATV's

-Drinking Water

The Discovery Channel is also interested in finding those who travel to remove areas and perform important or unusual jobs such as:

If you use bush pilots for any of these reasons, call 424-236-7564 and leave your name, number, and a brief description of how you use bush pilots. Or, email the company with the same information.

Although the exact storyline of the show is unclear at this point, a summary sent out by the production company said that an episode of the reality series will document Jim Tweto and his business Era Alaska.
