Book tour cans Levi's Wasilla mayoral run

According to the gossip page of the New York Daily News, Levi Johnston, Bristol Palin's former fiancé and father of her child, has decided against running for mayor of Wasilla this October. Johnston's lawyer, Rex Butler, said in a statement that his client will instead be focusing on a tour to spread the word about his upcoming tell-all book, Deer in Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs. "I want to tell the truth about my close relationship with the Palins," Johnston said in a statement. "I'm doing this for me, for my boy Tripp and for the country." Read more, here.
