ESPN has published a short profile of Chugiak's own soccer star Kelly Cobb during her first season playing forward for Duke University. Cobb spends a bit of time dispelling myths about her hometown, and she and her Dad explain how much creativity it takes to reach for the highest level of soccer in a state that isn't exactly a hotbed for the sport. All the hard work is paying off; Cobb scored her first goal for Duke eight minutes into the first game of the season. "She can shoot really well with both feet," Cobb's teammate Laura Weinberg said. "She's strong. She can hold people off. ... I think she'll add a lot to our team. I think she's going to score a lot of goals." Read much more, here.
