Concerns over Permanent Fund managers' residency

According to the Juneau Empire, Alaska Permanent Fund Corp.'s recently profiled chief investment officer, Jeffrey Scott, has not yet sold his Seattle-area home and has yet to move to Juneau. Scott's residency is a source of dismay for some lawmakers, who lamented, in a 2009 legislative committee meeting, a customary weekend "exodus" from APFC's Juneau offices beginning each Thursday. Since the hearings, it appears Scott and his top deputy have not bought property or relocated their families to Alaska. Though some lawmakers are disappointed, they admit that fund managers have disregarded legislative concerns in the past. Read much more, here.
