Disabled ship safe in Dutch Harbor

According to The Associated Press (via Alaska Newspapers Inc.), the cargo ship Golden Seas which became disabled last Friday in rough weather in the Bering Sea is now resting safely at anchor in Broad Bay at Dutch Harbor. The vessel was towed to safety by the rescue tug Tor Viking II, owned by Royal Dutch Shell. The Coast Guard says the hobbled ship will remain in Broad Bay while repairs to its engine are completed.
