According to the Anchorage Daily News, Anchorage's KTVA-TV, Channel 11, has announced that Bill McAllister, once a spokesperson for former Gov. Palin's administration, and currently the communications director for the Alaska Department of Law, has agreed to take a "multi-faceted" role with the station's news operation. Before leaving the news business to take a job in the Palin administration, McAllister reported primarily about politics for KTUU, another Anchorage TV station, but he said he won't only cover politics in his new position and he won't be reporting on Palin. KTVA's news director, Stacy Feger-Pellessier, said the station was "thrilled" to have McAllister coming on staff. KTVA recently lost reporter-anchor Matt Felling, who took a job as communications director for Sen. Lisa Murkowski's office. Read more, here.
