Juneau Empire photographer captures scene of escaped inmate's surrender

A Juneau Empire photographer was on the scene in the city's courthouse when inmate Talon B. Lobaugh, 23, made a break for it. Flanked by an armed Alaska State Trooper waiting for an elevator, Lobaugh ran out the back door.

According to the article, for more than 15 minutes on Wednesday Lobaugh ran though the streets of Juneau, dressed in the tell-tale orange outfit and wearing handcuffs, with officers in high pursuit. In the process, Lobaugh somehow managed to get his shirt off.

This is not the first time that Lobaugh has attempted to evade authorities. In fact, according to the article, he had already appeared in court earlier on Wednesday for resisting and interfering with an arrest for theft and forgery.

That time, he was caught in about nine minutes. Read more and check out the amazing photos here.
