The most infamous thorn in the side of Sarah Palin and Co. may have just gotten a little softer, with the news over that Levi Johnston had married girlfriend Sunny Oglesby over the weekend in Alaska.
Johnston, the father of Bristol Palin's 4-year-old son Tripp -- briefly the star of his own reality TV show -- also has a new baby with Oglesby named Breeze Beretta, born in September. The 22-year-old Johnston and 20-year-old Oglesby were married in front of about 100 friends and family, according to E! Online.
Levi's sister Mercede also tweeted her congrats, as well as some pictures of the bride and groom.
Perhaps Levi's new life of domesticity will bring to an end the long saga of drama that has encircled he and the Palin clan since Mama Grizzly's run for Vice President in 2008, when it was revealed that Bristol was pregnant out of wedlock and Johnston was the father. Johnston stood on stage with the family when they stepped out at the Republican National Convention that year.
After a brief engagement, Bristol Palin and Johnston broke up, then later got back together and re-engaged for a day before calling it quits for (hopefully) the last time.
No word yet on what -- if any -- plans the newly minted Johnston family has for reality TV pitches.
