David "D.J." Burrows, 30, made it all the way from Memphis to Anchorage after allegedly kidnapping and beating his girlfriend to death in May. Federal marshals in Tennessee, according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal, tipped off APD that Burrows was staying in a residence near Lake Otis Parkway and police eventually tracked him down in the car of an Anchorage resident. When he was taken in, he apparently had a small plastic bag that contained crack cocaine, crystal meth and false identification. He has since been extradited to Tennessee where he is awaiting trial in Shelby County Jail, and he was recently removed from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list.
